6:2 The temple King Solomon built for the Lord was 90 feet ¹  long, 30 feet ²  wide, and 45 feet ³  high.

15:15 He brought the holy items that he and his father had made into the Lord’s temple, including the silver, gold, and other articles. ⁴ 

[6:2]  ¹ tn Heb “sixty cubits.” A cubit was a unit of measure roughly equivalent to 18 inches or 45 cm. Measurements in vv. 2-10 have been converted to feet in the translation for clarity.

[6:2]  ² tn Heb “twenty cubits.”

[6:2]  ³ tn Heb “thirty cubits.”

[15:15]  ⁴ tn Heb “and he brought the holy things of his father and his holy things (into) the house of the Lord, silver, gold, and items.” Instead of “his holy things,” a marginal reading (Qere) in the Hebrew text has “the holy things of [the house of the Lord].”
